I had a stomachache this morning, and my professor sent me home because of that. How lame.
Last night, i got a patient who was in a really critical condition. He came in w/ a diagnosis of cardiac arrest. Was found unconscious and he was intubated in the field. When i was taking my information from his charts, he was having seizures. It made me kinda scared.
I was excited to take care of him today.
Too bad, i had to go home and make up my hours in the sim lab! (i wanted to work with real people!)
Anyways, i went to the doctor and he told me i have gastritis. I find it really odd that I will be working in the medical field, yet i don't believe in this kind of shit. lol. He prescribed me medications that supposedly will make me feel better, but at the back of my mind-- will only make me worse.
I seriously think once you go to hospital.. get treated.. you're gonna keep on coming back no matter what.
I dont know. Maybe it's just me. Oh well.
